摘要

Abstract

On the basis of the nature of artificial mineral for converter steel slag in Kunming Iron & Steel Company and the disseminated features of metallic iron and magnetic iron, the new technology including cascaded iron separation of large blocks for + 70 mm slag ( cascaded crushing-screening-magnetic separation) , grading dry tailing discarding by magnetic separation for - 70 mm slag, and then cascaded separation by wet fine-grinding ( wet ball-milling-metallic iron of cascaded screening - magnetic separation of magnetic iron) for primary concentrate of dry tailing discarding has been developed, which has advantages of simple technological process, large capacity, low cost, high grade and high recovery of metallic iron and magnetic iron oxide, and easily grading to use. Meanwhile, a magnetic separation concentrator for 600 000 t/a converter steel-slag which produced more than 6. 44 × 104 tons iron and iron concentrates per year was established by industrial production, in which magnetic tailings are used to made cement, and waste water is used for closed-circuit recycling.
