摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the level of peroxisome proliferator - activated receptor gamma coactivator 1 alpha ( PGC -lα) expression in the central obese mice in order to get the relationship between PGC -1 α with energy metabolism and obesity. Methods To create the obese mod-els, the glutamic sodium was injected by subcutaneous. The body mass index, body temperature, food intake were examined. Besides, the level of PGC - 1α expression in brown adipose, white adipose, liver, lung, heart and brain were detected through RT - PCR. Results The expres-sion of PGC - la in brown adipose, white fat, liver, heart, lung and brain were different. Compared with the normal group, the expression of PGC - 1α was basically reduced in the model group. In addition, the PGC - lα expression in white and brown adipose were up regulated in cold stimulation and more significantly increased in brown adipose. Con-clusion It's likely that PGC - la was associated closely with body ener-gy metabolism and obesity.
