Abstract
The Pierre Robin Sequence (PRS) is a congenital abnormality characterized by micrognathia, retrognathia and cleft palate. The rarity of occurrence often leads to its missed diagnosis. This article reports a case of PRS child admitted to our hospital and analyzes the clinical features of 83 cases of PRS children reported over the last 30 years. It can be found that the males outnumbered the females, and 82 cases were appropriate for gestational age and most of them were without birth asphyxia resuscitation history; some were accompanied with other malformation; four cases had significant genetic predisposition. 37 cases were diagnosed within three days after birth, 21 cases were diagnosed 30 days after birth. Early diagnosis and treatment can improve prognosis of PRS children.关键词
