摘要
Abstract
Objectives To investigate the significance of standardized training of peripherally inserted central venous catheter (PICC) to plugging occurrence in cancer patients.Methods A total of 145 caner patients receiving PICC were divided into groups control (n = 67, admitted in 2009) and treatment (n = 78, admitted in 2010).The effects of PICC nursing and prevention of plugging occurrence were compared between standardized-trained and unstandardized-trained murses.Results The incidence of plugging and extubation rate caused by non-canalization were lower in treatment group than control, and reca-nalization higher (P <0.05).Conclusions Standardized training of catheter related knowledge and skills, which can reduce PICC plugging, is of some clinical significance.关键词
