Abstract
Objective To summarize the imaging features of CT and MRI of autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP) to enhance the understanding of imaging features of this disease. Methods CT and MRI of 12 AIP patients were analyzed to summarize the pancreatic size, density, signal and abnormal changes around pancreas. Results 9 cases showed diffuse enlargement of pancreas, 2 cases showed limited enlargement and one case showed no obvious changes. T2WI showing diffuse enlargement of pancreas in 11 cases of AIP, 10 cases having slightly increased and inhomogenous signals of pancreatic lesions, 5 cases showing linear low signal shadow around pancreas. MRCP showed that 4 cases had diffuse or segmental strictures of the main pancreatic duct All the 12 patients were given hormone therapy and their clinical symptoms were significantly improved. Conclusion The imaging of AIP features strongly in diffuse enlargement, homogeneous enhancement, delayed enhancement and coating structure. CT and MRI are major method for the detection, diagnosis and treatment of AIP.关键词
