空间依赖、碳排放与人均收入的空间计量研究
Spatial and Econometric Analysis of Spatial Dependence, Carbon Emissions and Per Capita Income

Abstract
Based on China' s panel data of 29 provinces during 2000 - 2008, this paper employs spatial econometrics to study the relationship between per capita carbon emissions and per capita income. Our estimation results indicates: First, the relationship of per capita carbon emission and per capita income show obvious spatial clustering characteristics, and the former' s spatial dependence is strengthened. Second, the relation between per capita carbon emission ami per capita income appears to be an inveised U-shaped curve when per capita income reaches RMB 16 953 yuan. And we further calculate the turning point for per capita carbon emission by various provinces, finding that there is significant difference in time path of turning point for per carbon emission. The majority of provinces in the eastern region reach the turning point earlier, while the central and western regions will have a longer time to go. Third, the level of urbanization, the proportion of employment and teclmological advances are decisive factors in promoting the increase of per capita carbon emissions. Fourth, foreign trade reduces per capita carbon emission to a certain degree. Therefore, we put forward corresponding policies and suggestions, including vigorous promotion of low-carbon lifestyle, optimization of industrial structure, active development of low-carbon technologies, transformation of trade structure and the policy-making of incorporating carbon emission with regional spatial dependence.关键词
