Abstract
Nano-zinc hydroxystannate (nano-ZHS) was synthesized via chemical precipitation method. X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and transmission electron microscope (TEM) showed that the product was in the form of nanocubic single-crystals having particle size of 50-60 nm. PVC/ZHS nanocomposites was prepared via a blending method. TG and DTA showed that nano-ZHS could catalyze the dehydrochlorination of PVC and promote early crosslinking leading to rapid charring and increase thermal stability of char layer. When the addition of nano-ZHS increased, limiting oxygen index increased from 23. 8 % to 32 %. However, tensile strength and elongation at break of the composites would be dropped when nano-ZHS was added to PVC.关键词
