Abstract
Objective To analyze retrospectively the effect of plasma exchange (PE) used in the treatment of 103 donors with myasthenia gravis ( MG). Methods American CS-3000PLUS automatic full blood cell separator was applicated for the treatment of myasthenic crisis,the preparation of MG thymus extirpation,as well as the withdraw of ventilator. "706" plasma substitutes and fresh frozen plasma were used as the replacement fluid. And the replace volume for each time was 2 000 ml. Results Each patient underwent PE for 2-18 times,with a average of (4.27 + 1.98) times. Except for 1 MG patient died due to myoeardial infarction, the remaining patients all received effective treatment, no matter using PE as a single or combined treatment. And 63 patients had different levels of side effects,such as perioral numbness,limb numbness,urticaria , chills and fever, during the 93 times of plasmapheresis, but all turned better after symptomatic treatment. Conclusion PE is effective in the treatment of myasthenic crisis, the preparation of MG thymus extirpation, as well as the withdraw of ventilator. In faced with the blood tension in Beijing, it will be hard to provide a large volume of plasma for PE. At the same time, with more attention is paid to the risk of transfusion-transmitted diseases, as well as the development of medical technology, PE as a combined treatment will not be the first choice for clinicians.关键词
