Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with tianma gouteng decoction therapy on migraine with hyperactivity of liver yang. Methods: Sixty patients with migraine with hyperactivity of liver -yang were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with oral administration of tianma gouteng decoction. The treatment group was treated with acupuncture and oral administration of tianma gouteng decoction. Clinical effect was evaluated after two treatment courses. Results:The total effective rate in the control group and the treatment group were 83. 33% and 96. 67% , and there was a significant difference between groups(P <0.05). Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with tianma gouteng decoction is a significant therapeutic effect on migraine with hyperactivity of liver yang.
