小针刀治疗椎动脉型颈椎病眩晕的临床观察
Clinical Observation on Small Needle- knife for Treatment of Vertigo Caused by Cervical Spondylosis of Vertebral Artery Type

Abstract
Objective: To explore the clinical therapeutic effect and mechanisms of small needle - knife for treating the vertigo caused by cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type. Methods:One hundred sixty cases were randomly divided into small needle - knife group and traditional group, 80 cases in each group. The small needle - knife group was treated by small needle - knife releasing therapy. The traditional group was treated by common acupuncture. After two courses of treatment,observe the clinical effect between two groups, and clinical symptom score of both groups were observed before and after treatment. Results: The total effective rate in small needle - knife group and traditional group were 95% and 80% , and there was a significant difference between groups(P <0. 01 ).. After treatment clinical symptom score in both groups had a significant difference ( P < 0. 01). Conclusion: Small needle - knife has a definite therapeutic effect on vertigo caused by cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type. Small needle - knife is superior to the common acupuncture.
