Abstract
[ Objective ] To supply theoretical foundation for directional synthesis of drugs, the interation of 4-nitroimidazole derivative and its complex with calf thymus DNA. [Method] 4,4'-dinitro-2,2'-biimidazole and its Copper(Ⅱ) complex have been synthesized and characterized. The interation of the compounds with DNA has been investigated by UV, fluorescence spectra and viscosity measurements. [Result] The data of elemental a-nalysis, UV, IR and molar conductivity indicated that the copper(Ⅱ) metal ions have coordinated with 4,4'-dinitro-2,2'-biimidazole. As a result of interaction between compounds and ct-DNA, the UV and fluorescence spectra of them have some certain change, and compounds also have different effects to the viscosity of DNA. [Conclusion] The possible composition of complex is Cu[ (NO2)2biim]2SO4 ? 2H2O and the interation of ligand and complex with calf thymus DNA are non-classical and partial intercalate modes respectively.关键词
