摘要

Abstract

[Objective] To investigate the growth responses and Cd accumulation characteristics of Mirahilis jalapa L. under the combined Cd and salinity stresses. [Method] The aquatic culture was used in the study to measure the dry biomass and Cd concentration after the plants were harvested. [ Result] Mirabilis jalapa L. showed strong tolerance under the combined Cd and salinity stresses, the addition of NaCl to the Cd contamination solution could facilitate the Cd accumulation of plant under appropriate treatments. [Conclusion] Mirabilis jalapa L. has the potential to be used in the phytoremediation of the contaminated Cd and salinity contaminated soils.
