摘要

Abstract

[ Objective ] The aim was to study the effects of the feed additive Bacillus subtilis and diet protein levels on the growth performance and digestive organs of early-weaned piglets. [ Method] Three hundred and sixty piglets at weaning age of 21 days were assigned four treatment groups. The diet protein level of group 1 and 2 piglets was 20% , and that of group 3 and 4 was 18% . The feed additive Bacillus subtilis was used in the diets of group 2 and 4. The growth performance and digestive organs of early-weaned piglets were determined. [ Result] Group 2 piglets fed Bacillus subtilis had higher (P > 0.05) average daily gain than those of group 1 and 3 during 14 days of this experiment. For the relative weights of the duodenum and jejunum mucosa and liver, group 4 was higher than group 1, and group 2 and 3 were no difference (P >0.05). [Conclusion] The feed additive Bacillus subtilis could enhance the digestive organ development of the small intestine and liver, which improved the growth performance of early-weaned piglets.
