Effects of Apple Pomace on Yantai Ground Cucumber Seedling
摘要
Abstract
[ Objective]The research aimed to study the effects of apple pomace on the cucumber seedling. [ Method] Apple pomace was used as nursing media for cucumber seedlings by mixing with peat and perlite at different volume ratios. The physical and chemical properties of the media and their effects on growth and physiological indices of cucumber seedlings were investigated. [ Result] The effects of the substrate medium of apple pomace: peat: perlite 1:4:1 was better for cucumber seedlings with higher emergence rate and better vigorous seedling index compared to the check of peat: perlite 5: 1. [ Conclusion ] Apple pomace can replace peat, and the replacement rate 20% -50% was the most appropriate condition for the growth of the cucumber seedling.关键词
