Abstract
Based on observation data of Guangxi coastal weather stations and NCEP reanalysis data during 1963 - 2009, the climate features, weather situation and meteorological conditions of coastal fog in Guangxi were analyzed. As indicated by the results, fog in Guangxi coast occurred most frequently during 08: 00 - 09: 00 in a day, and spring, winter in a year. The annual variation of fog days was significant. The weather situations of fog in Guangxi coast were divided into two types: in the back of the high pressure and influenced by weak cold air. Fog of Guangxi coast and meteorological elements were statistically analyzed. When the fog occurred, Guangxi had big value of water vapor flux, water vapor was very abundant. Guangxi was in appropriate wind speed and wind direction. The surface air temperature was between 11 and 25 ℃. The inversion layer was the favorable condition for fog, but not the necessary condition.关键词
