Abstract
Under high-speed railway environments, the performance of wireless communications systems is severely degraded due to large Doppler frequency offset. In order to mitigate the effect of significant Doppler frequency offset, a performance enhanced pre-offset compensation strategy is presented with Doppler frequency offset estimation and precorrection in TD-SCDMA systems. Specifically, by using the structural characteristics of the uplink midamble, the proposed method estimates Doppler frequency offset in the uplink timeslot. Then, the base station precorrects the Doppler frequency offset of the downlink timeslot based on the reciprocity property of TD-SCDMA systems. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm significantly improves the performance of high speed railway wireless communication systems.关键词
