摘要

Abstract

Starting directly the AC motor will produce a big dash current, which will shorten the service lite ol the electromotor and has a negative effect on power grid. Reducing voltage start and traditional soft starter can not provide big enough starting torque and can not carry heavy load to start. In order to overcome these problems, a high torque soft start technology based on multilevel discrete variable frequency was researched.The simulation results show that this soft start technology has some advantage such as high starting torque and low starting current and possess some ingenuity on settling over-loading start.
