Abstract
Insulation coordination inside the converter station is one of the key technologies for ±1 100 kV UHVDC power transmission project and it is of significance to reduce the manufacturing difficulty of related equipments. A model for the simulation and calculation of ±1 100 kV UHVDC power transmission project is proposed; and steady-state operation voltage and switching impulse of ±1 100 kV UHVDC system are simulated and summarized. Based on the ageing test of arrester performance, the feasibility of reducing insulation level of equipments by high-performance arresters is presented in detail, and recommended values of impulse insulation levels and insulation margins of equipments for ±1 100 kV UHVDC power transmission project are given.关键词
