Study on Nonlinearity in Power System Electro-Mechanical Oscillation
摘要
Abstract
When a large-scale interconnected power system is disturbed by large or small disturbance, its electro-mechanical oscillations become one of the most important factors affecting the system stability. Based on general description of electro-mechanical oscillation and linear characteristic analysis, dynamic period, dynamic decay speed and nonlinearity are defined to characterize electro-mechanical oscillation occurred in nonlinear system. The influences of power system nonlinear characteristics on both shape and period of response trajectories are researched and on this basis the ultra-low frequency oscillation of power system is discussed; besides, the decay characteristics of nonlinear electro-mechanical oscillation are analyzed, Through the simulations of one oscillation mode, the difference of dynamic responses in a real nonlinear system and its linearized system are comprehensively illustrated and compared, and similarities and differences of responses of linear system and nonlinear system in shapes and properties are expounded.关键词
