摘要

Abstract

A direct power control strategy based on virtual flux linkage is proposed. Combining with space vector pulse modulation (SVPWM) the proposed control strategy can implement direct power control of three-phase static synchronous compensator (STATCOM). Based on current sampled values of voltage and current and computed values of active and reactive power, the voltage control value of STATCOM's output can be calculated to make the errors of active and reactive power becoming zero while the control process is completed. The influence of the degree of grid voltage unbalance on operation stability of STATCOM is researched in depth, thus the maximum degree of voltage unbalance that STATCOM can endure during its normal operation is determined. Having no need of transformation of rotational coordinates and PI control, the proposed control stratagem simplifies the design of controller. Both feasibility and availability of the proposed control strategy are verified by simulation results.
