Observation of Curative Effects of Lopi Prostaglandin E1 on Congenital Heart Disease Complicated with Pulmonary Hypertension in Children

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the curative effects of Lopi prostaglandin El ( Lopi PGE1 ) on congenital heart disease complicated with pulmonary hypertension in children. Methods-. One. hundred and sixteen patients of congenital heart disease complicated with pulmonary hypertension and congestive heart failure were randomly selected. Among them, 60 patients with ventricular septal defect (VSD), 50 patients with patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) and 6 patients with PDA and VSD. Patients were, randomly allocated into a treatment group (59 cases) and a control group (57 cases). Conventional anti-infections, digitalis, furosemide and captopril were administrated to both groups. While the treatment group was additionally treated with Lopi PGEl intravenous injection 5 ng/( kg o min),8-12 hours one time. Results; After treatment of 2 weeks, the total effective rate of the treatment group (98.2% ) was significantly higher than that of the control group (73. 6% ) (P<0. 01). Conclusions: The application of Lopi PGEl is a safe and valid therapy for congenital heart disease complicated with pulmonary hypertension in children.关键词
