Abstract
Objective; To investigate the status of rational drug use in outpatient in our hospital for improving use of medicines. Methods; With the use of international indicators for rational drug use recommended by WHO, we randomly sampled and investigated the 200 outpatients and their outpatient prescriptions for survey and statistical analysis. Results; The 1. 99 drugs were prescribed per prescription in average. The mean rate of antibiotic use was 45. 00%, the mean rate of injection use was 46. 00% ; the mean rate of essential drugs use was 27.00% and the average cost was 81.60 RMB. The average consulting time was 7. 24 min. The percentage of dispense of prescribing drugs was 99. 00%. The percentage of complete drug labeling was reached 89. 00%. 100. 00% patients read drug package inserts and 82.00% patients understood the correct usage of medications. Conclusions; The drug use in outpatient in our hospital was rational on the whole. The use rate of injections and antibiotics was high, and the percentage of drugs prescribed from essential drug list was low. The communication between clinicians, pharmacists and patients remains to be strengthened further.关键词
