摘要
Abstract
Novel Cu-based friction materials enhanced by Cu and Ni coated nano-SiO2 particles were prepared by powder metallurgy, respectively. The friction properties and heat resistance of ihe friction materials were investigated through 1: 1 inertia bench tester. Microstructure of the friction materials, hardness of the matrix and wear mechanisms were investigated by scan electronic microscope ( SEM ) and microhardness tester, et al. The results indicate that n-SiO2 particles can refine particles of the matrix and enhance the hardness of the matrix. The wear resistant of the friction materials with Cu/n-SiO2 and Ni/n-SiO2 is 3. 95 times and 7. 46 times higher than that without surface modification of n-SiO2, respectively. The wear mechanism of the n-SiO2 enhanced frictions materials is abrasive wear of furrow type.关键词
