Abstract
Objective:To summarize the clinical experience and to explore the clinical effect of laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) repair for recurrent hernia. Methods:The clinical data of 113 cases of recurrent inguinal hernia treated by laparoscopic TAPP repair from Mar. 2009 to Jan. 2012 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 21 cases of recurrent hernia and 92 cases of relapse hernia. Results: Operations were completed successfully in 112 cases and 1 case was converted to open surgery. The mean operation time was (55.3±16.5) min, and the mean hospital stay was (4.56±2.1) d. The rate of postoperative pain was 4.4% , the rate of seroma was 14. 2% ,the rate of foreign body sensation was 1.8% ,and the rate of urinary retention was 6. 2% . There were no wound infection and other severe complications. Follow-up checkups were made for 6-40 m,and no recurrence was observed. Conclusions:Laparoscopic TAPP repair for recurrent inguinal hernia has advantages of minimal invasion and few complications, and the operation is safe and effective with the posterior approch.关键词
