摘要

Abstract

It is suggested that a new kind of pavement to slow down the speed of the vehicle, which is called wave - shape pavement and is benefit for riding comfort and for the passage of vehicle smoothly. In present study, four kinds of the wave - shape pavement are designed and simulated driving test is performed by using driving simulation vehicle in the room under different driving speed. The mean square of weighed acceleration is recorded and the relation model among driving speed, mean square of weighed acceleration and wavelength of wave - shape pavement is obtained, then the design method and index is induced accordingly. Test result shows that, the wave - shape pavement can make driver to slow down the driving speed voluntarily, therefore the speed limit can be achieved by constructing suitable wave - shape pavement according to theory of this paper.
