摘要

Abstract

Objective To study the influence of minocycline hydroohioride on interleukin-1β(IL-1β) mRNA expression of human periodontal ligament fibroblagte (HPDLF) induced by lipopolysacharide ( LPS). Methods HPDLF were cultured and divided into five groups; control group, high dose group, low dose group, medium dose group and model group. IL-1β mRNA of HPDLF induced by LPS was tested by real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR. Results The relative expression levels of IL-1β mRNA showed; model group > control group > (high dose group, low dose group, medium dose group), with significant differences (P<0.01) ; however, no significant difference was found among high dose group, low dose group and medium dose group (P>0.05). Conclusion Minocycline hydrochloride can inhibit IL-1β mRNA expression of HPDLF induced by LPS, which may be one of the mechanisms of minocycline hydrochloride in treatment of periodontitis.
