摘要

Abstract

Co-continuous ceramic composites (C4 materials) are a new kind of ceramic/metal composites with newly composing manner. Unlike some traditional composites ( such as particle reinforced composites, fiber reinforced composites and flake reinforced composites, etc. ) , ceramic phase and metallic phase in the composite both have three-dimensional interpenetrating structure. Therefore, this kind of composites not only has both properties of ceramics and metals, but also possesses superior performance in some respects owing to the interlock function of ceramic phase and metallic phase. This kind of composites gains the widely application perspectives. In the present paper, the preparation method, composites systems, performance and application of C4 materials have been introduced. The new progress is expounded emphatically. The application perspective and development trend are prospected.
