Remote Sensing Monitoring of the Mineral Resources Exploration and Mining Environment of the Salt Lake Based on SPOT5 Data

Abstract
Using the remote sensing interpretation data of the SPOT5 images acquired in three periods from 2008 to 2010, the authors analyzed the mining geological environment and the status of mineral resources exploitation in the Chaerhan salt lake. The results show that the numbers of factories and pump stations have increased, the exploited saline land, tailings and waste bittern convergence areas are rapidly expanding. Both extracting ditches and transporting ditches are extending. The monitoring scheme for the study area is discussed in detail,which provides some essential scientific references for regulating a monitoring system and technical standard in this field.关键词
