红树蚬表型性状对秋季软体部重量的影响效果分析
Effects of Phenotypic Traits on Soft Part Weight of the Mangrove Mud Clam Polymesoda erosa

Abstract
171 mangrove mud clams Polymesoda erosa were randomly collected from the Beibu Gulf,Guangxi, China. Totally five metric traits were measured, including shell length (Xi), shell width (X2), shell height (X3), live weight (X4) and soft part weight (Y). In order to study the effect of phenotypic traits (X) on soft part weight (Y) , the data were analyzed by u-sing the methods of correlation analysis, path analysis and regression analysis. The results showed that all the correlation index between every two metric traits reached significance levels ( P <0. 01). The live weight had greatest direct effect on soft part weight and followed by the shell length. The shell width and shell height were not significantly correlated with soft part weight ( P >0. 05). Using the stepwise regression method, the multiple regression equation was established to estimate soft part weight as Y = -5. 286 + 0. 133 X1+0. 012 X3 +0. 096X4 (R2 =0.758,P<0.01).关键词
