Advance in bZIP transcription factors related with plant stress resistance
摘要
Abstract
Basic region/leucine zipper motif (bZIP) transcription factors are one of the most extensively investigated transcriptional factor families in recent years,which are involved in many biological functions and play an important role in plant stress resistance such as disease resistance,cold resistance,drought resistance,salt tolerance,and so on.. This paper summarized the advances in distribution,structure,classification and function,as well as the role in plant stress tolerance of bZIP transcription factors. It was proposed that more whole-genome based bZIP transcription factors should be explored,and bZIP mutant could be constructed by site -directed mutation and transgenosis in order to understand the mechanism of bZIP transcription factors that' s regulating stress related genes,hence new multi-resistance plant varieties could be bred through improving plant stress resistance by genetic engineering.关键词
