摘要

Abstract

With the increase in service years of composite insulators made of silicon rubber, they are aging irreversibly,which may influence the security of power system. To accumulate relevant experience of safe operation of composite insulators, three insulators with different service years were sampled from the 110 kV Yedanqing line and the 110 kV Baidan line for series tests in this study. The hydrophobicity distributions on different parts of each composite insulator's surface were measured,the contamination features on the surfaces of the composite insulators were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy,and the contamination compositions were also analyzed by ion component analysis. The results show that the hydrophobicity distributions on the surfaces are uneven. The analysis of the contamination composition on insulator surface can help understanding the pollution feature of certain region in order to work out reasonable measures of pollution prevention from flashover.
