摘要

Abstract

10 kV switchgears are important equipment in Chinese power distribution networks- The defects such as insulation degradation and poor contacts in a 10 kV switchgear,which are difficult to be detected while the switchgear is operating normally,may harm its safe operation. Therefore,this paper proposes a joint partial discharge detection method based on the principles of transient earth voltage (TEV), ultrasonic (AE),and ultra high frequency (UHF). The method can offer sufficient data for status evaluation and maintenance of the switchgear to guarantee safe operation.
