Abstract
To analyze the disease cost by existing statistical methods, it is based on premise of hypothesis, the judgment process is complex, and it involves large amount of computation. To overcome these shortcomings, the key is how to select the influential factors. In this paper, Mahalanobis-Taguchi is proposed to do so for single disease cost analysis. Based on the relative factors in the literature, a case study for pure appendicitis in a hospital is conducted. By using Mahalanobis-Taguchi method, influential factors are selected such that the fitting degree of regression reaches to 82%. This implies that the method is effective and practically applicable.关键词
