Abstract
In classical control theory, the transfer function block diagram simplification commonly uses equivalent conversion
method and Masongain formula. Aiming at complicated block diagrams, the simplification steps are cumbersome and error-prone for the equivalent transformation method. The Mason formula is not easily understood. This paper proposes a new analytic method. The input and output relationship of the system is shown with analytical equation or equations. It is supplementary to equivalent transformation method and Mason gain formula, and it has strong practicability.
