Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical effect of transurethral prostate vaporization combined with transurethral resection to treat advanced age and giant prostatic hyperplasia. Method: Analyzing the clinical data of 38 patients with advanced age and giant prostatic hyperplasia treated with transurethral prostate vaporization combined with transurethral resection, and study the clinical effect. Result: The average operation time was ( 63±8 )min, the average resection of prostate was ( 45±5. 8 )g. And the average volume of intraop-erative blood loss was ( 209±18 ) mL. After operation, voiding was unobstructed, and there was no complications such as urinary incontinence, urethral stricture, bladder neck contracture, blood transfusion and transurethral resection syndrome. Before operation, the average prostate symptom score was ( 28. 4±3. 4 ) score, the average life quality score was ( 4. 5 ± 1. 3 ) branch, the average maximum urinary flow rate was ( 8. 9±3. 1 ) ml and the average residual urine volume was ( 140±26 )mL. After operation, the average prostate symptom score was ( 9. 7±1. 1 ) score, the average life quality score was( 2. 5±0. 7 ) branch, the average maximum urinary flow rate was ( 23. 6±5. 7 )mL and the average residual urine volume was ( 19±9 )mL. The difference of the indexes above was significant ( P<0. 05 ), which had statistical significance. Conclusion: The clinical effect of transurethral vaporization of the prostate combined with transurethral resection to treat advanced age and giant prostatic hyperplasia is significant and is the embodiment of advantages of both, which is worthy of clinical application.关键词
