摘要

Abstract

GD-L2 gas flow solid radon source is a generator that generates specific amount of radon. It makes a continuous and constant flow of air go through a special solid radium -containing substance, forming a gas stream source with stable radon density, to calibrate intermittent sampling radon monitor and continuous radon monitor as well. This paper elaborates the principles, calibration methods and safety features, etc. of solid radon source, focusing on the comparative analysis of multiple calibration results, which leads to the identification of influencing factors of solid radon source stability and its solutions. Through two years' calibrations and experiments, it is convinced that the device can be applied in inspection and calibration work for FD-125 radon-thorium analyzer and SD-3A automatic digital radon monitor.
