摘要

Abstract

The potential of energy saving was analyzed by pinch technology for the heat exchanger network ( HEN) of the low temperature section in the Rectisol plant of a 600 000 I/a coal-to-methanol installation. On that basis, the target value and design value of utilities consumption in that unit were determined, and the segment and causes for unreasonable utilization of energy were discussed. The direction of process optimization and the potential of energy saving were revealed. Based on the profit maximization of investment on retrofit, several schemes were presented. The optimized result of the obtained final scheme is that 735. 38 kW liquid ammonia refrigerant of cold utility is saved, thus providing a reference for the optimization of the HEN in low temperature system with refrigerant as cold utility.
