摘要

Abstract

This paper studied the 3D terrain visualization which based on the open visual graphics library VTK, and a 3D terrain visualization program has been designed and developed with MFC in the VC development environment. The VTK visualization library pipeline flow method was used based on the analysis of the key technologies in the 3D terrain visualization by VTK including 3D terrain modeling, color mapping and texture mapping etc. Some functions such as reading discrete point coordinate data,building the digital elevation model and the visualization display and interactive function of 3D terrain were realized efficiently.
