X型胶原在膝骨关节炎软骨中的表达
Expression of X - type collagen in articular cartilage of knee osteoarthritis
摘要
Abstract
Objective To observe the expression of X - type collagen in articular cartilage of patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA) and the role of it in the progression of OA. Methods The articular cartilage from 18 OA patients and 13 healthy subjects were included in the study. The synthesis of X- type collagen was measured by Western Blotting,Northern Blotting and RT - PCR. Results At mRNA level,Northern blotting and RT - PCR both revealed OA articular chondro-cytes with higher X- type collagen expression than controls. Western Blotting test showed that the synthesis and deposition of X - type collagen in OA cartilage matrix increased significantly compared with the healthy age-matched controls (P<0.01). But there was no correlation between mRNA and protein synthesis of type - X collagen( P >0.05). Conclusion The X - type collagen is highly expressed in OA patients,which probably contributes to the disorder of pericellular matrix leading to the acceleration of osteoarthritis.关键词
