Abstract
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors. In China, the incidence and mortality have increased steadily. It has been proven that screening among general population can effectively reduce the incidence and mortality of colorectal cancer. Developed countries have rich experience in colorectal cancer screening and have achieved initial success. This article presented a brief introduction to current colorectal cancer screening methods among general population, eligibility criteria for target population, and screening circles. The strategies and advances of colorectal cancer screening both domestically and internationally were reviewed. Related challenges were also revealed to provide reference to develop China's colorectal cancer screening strategy.关键词
