摘要

Abstract

In order to improve power and economy performance for gasoline engine, the cam profile and piston ring of engine were optimized. In this paper, the effectiveness of improving the power and economy performance of GW4G15 gasoline engine through optimizing the cam profile and piston ring was verified by experiments. Charging coefficient, mechanical friction loss , blow-by, power performance and fuel economy were compared. The results showed that charging coefficient, power and torque are increased, and fuel consumption and mechanical friction loss is reduced after cam profile and piston ring are optimized. However, the blow-by is increased because of decreasing the tension of piston ring.
