摘要

Abstract

Facing the opportunity of the Putian forestry-pulp-paper integration project, the main limit is lacking fast-growing tree species in Southeast Fujian coastal middle-low altitude mountain area. So we carried out the introduction and cultivation test of cold-resistant Eucalyptus varieties in such area. The results revealed that the Eucalyptus grandis showed several good qualities such as rapid growth, high yield, and strong adaptability. 5A eucalyptus tree height, diameter at breast height and average stand volume reached 2. 54-3. 15 m/a、3. 14-3. 72 cm/a and 15. 90-28. 07 m3/( a·hm2) , respectively. Thus, it is the ideal tree species for this area in Fujian.
