Average Moisture Contents of Solid Wood Floorings in Multistory Building
摘要
Abstract
The authors measured moisture contents in solid wood flooring in different apartments in multistory building'in Nanjing,Jiangsu province. The results indicated that the average moisture content of flooring located near windows and balconies facing toward the south were lower than those located near windows in north facing bedrooms,except for the first floor where there was no obvious difference among moisture contents of the same solid wood flooring species. Generally, the moisture content decreased when the floor location increased. This paper provides useful information to produce solid wood flooring with reasonable moisture content and flooring installation.关键词
