摘要

Abstract

Foaming specimens made from liquefied-bamboo resin were exposed to soil, heat, and light conditions, respectively, to evaluate their durability. The material mass loss and compressive strength before and after those conditions were tested. Results showed that the foaming material was easily degraded through soil exposure. The heat treated specimens had higher compression strength. There were some losses of weight and compressive strength after the light exposure. It was proposed that after a surface treatment, this foaming material could be used as exterior wall thermal insulation material for exterior wall building.
