Overview of Topology Control Techniques in Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks

Abstract
As a new type of wireless sensor networks, underwater acoustic sensor networks ( UASN) will play an important role in many underwater monitoring applications. Because of the particularity and complexity of water medium, underwater acoustic sensor networks are quite different from the traditional sensor networks. Topology control is the key network composing technique. This paper summarizes and concludes the existing research of topology control techniques in UASN. Some problems attracting many researchers are introduced and solutions are pointed out. The main factors in the designing of topology control technique then are proposed. Finally,the problem in future research is discussed.关键词
