Energy-efficient Sleep Scheduling for Data Aggregation in Wireless Sensor Networks
摘要
Abstract
Data aggregation is an effective technique to solve energy-constrained issue in Wireless Sensor Networks ( WSN). This paper focuses on designing an efficient sleep scheduling to reduce energy consumption in time-driven data aggregation. An energy-efficient sleep scheduling algorithm is presented, which is based on the model of sensor node energy consumption. The algorithm uses TDM A as the MAC layer protocol,and is designed to save energy by reducing network delay and communication times. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the energy consumption with different aggregation trees.关键词
