Abstract
Miscellaneous Notes on the Classics(读书杂志) compiled by Wang Niansun is a philological treasure house,especially valuable for its textual criticism of ancient texts.Textual criticism according to writing styles is adopted by Wang Niansun as a routine means of identification and removal of transcription errors in the texts of manuscripts.The paper,through exemplifying specific cases of textual criticism in Miscellaneous Notes on the Classics(读书杂志),tries to unveil Wang Niansun’s contributions to the methodology of textual criticism.关键词
