An Analysis of Mei Yiqi’s Character
摘要
Abstract
Mei Yiqi was highly reputed for his unique contributions to the stability and development of Tsinghua University during the Republic of China period.However,little was known about his character.From his diaries and talks of his friends and relatives,we could find him a true man who was proficient in Chinese and Western culture;a resolute,tough and excellent university president;a gracious,loving and generous father and husband et cetera.He was not only adept at education,but also good at all kinds of social activities.He focused on Chinese education,politics and society with strong compassion,which we would always treasure.关键词
