Abstract
To study the unsteady characteristics caused by interaction between the grooved polishing tool and the workpiece, the paper calculated the unsteady flow field of polishing area based on sliding mesh and RNG k-s turbulence model. It was found that the velocity and pressure periodic change with the position change of the grooves and the workpiece surface in a certain periodic time, and when the grooves rotate across the minimum gap, appears the maximum flow pressure with increasing first, and then decreasing changing-regularity and shows its unsteady characteristics obviously. The results of experiments show that the material removing rate occurred around the minimal area is most obviously , which goes with the simulative results. [Ch,10 fig. 9 ref. ]关键词
