Advances on the Studies of Physiological and Biochemical Characteristics of Invertase in Higher Plants
摘要
Abstract
In higher plants, invertases play a pivotal role in carbon partitioning among different sink organs, and act as one of the major regulators in the formation of crop yield and fruit quality. This paper summarized the research progress in invertases of higher plants from the aspects of isoforms, primary structures, physio-biochemical characteristics and functions. Focus is devoted to the differential physio-biochemical characteristics and functions between varied invertase isoforms. Also, the latest study of invertases in rubber tree was briefly described.关键词
